"Professional Ethics in Continuing Legal Education"Project Duration: November 1, 2011 – December 31, 2012 The goal of the project is to support development of legal profession in Georgia by enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of the GBA members and promoting application of the Code of Ethics Provision. The project will equip GBA training facilities in Tbilisi and Kutaisi, develop training materials, including informational brochures, training videos and handouts and carry out 117 trainings to train over 3000 lawyers in legal ethics. GBA will ensure the effective training awareness through media coverage in TV and Radio Programs, placement of information on the official GBA website, placement of information on information boards in courts and prosecutors’ offices, sending text messages to all GBA members, and distribution of information at the General Assembly meeting of Association. As a result of the project CLE training course in legal ethics will be developed. Majority of GBA members will be trained in legal ethics and the capacity of GBA training center will increase.
